Guest guest
I hope this link works -- the WSJ ran a piece on annoying colleagues eating lunch at their desks. The focus was on smelly foods with just a glancing mention of noisy foods. They approached the topic from an etiquette standpoint more than anything. The one paragraph about noisy foods is as follows, and it is not clear whether the person has a mild case of 4S or just regular annoyance. Not to be forgotten are the munchers, the crunchers, the open-mouthed, finger-licking lip-smackers. Chase, an associate editor for an environmental website in Atlanta, gets irritated when co-workers snack on " chips, nuts, anything that is super-crunchy. " She says she knows everyone isn't as sensitive as she is, so she doesn't complain. Instead, she puts on her headphones and listens to music. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424053111904279004576526294189156156.html
