OT - Lyme and mercury

Hi everyone,

This is my first post, and already I'm off topic! I'm looking for the source of

something I've read about and would like to check out more thoroughly - the idea

that Lyme organisms sequester mercury or that if we're mercury toxic the Lyme

somehow benefits from this. I'm wondering if anyone can point me to research

that bears this out, or to clinical evidence of it. It just sounds unlikely to

me since mercury is so toxic to most living things, but, hey, what do I know?
