We have been giving him 4 per day. We use the citrus cream chewable wafers. If he is sick with a cold or the like, we ramp up to 6-8 per day. And then return to 4 when he's better. I also give these to my typical son who has been very healthy for two years now. He takes 2 per day and is 10 yrs. old. When first starting, I would give 1 per day for a week or so and then slowly ramp up from there. Hope this helps. Heidi
