Guest guest
First of all I must admit I'm not an expert at the subject. However I am pretty sure that if one does not replace the self image with a postive one that is consistent with a healthy life style, all those good things that should be done to reach a desired weight for your bone density, and consume a variety of whole foods (not refined or overly processed) then the result is temporary. One's own self image, how you see yourself, how you feel about yourself, determines the results. I took alot of good courses with Bob Proctor a, gifted man who referred to Norman Peale " The Power of Positive Thinking " , and Napoleon Hill " Think and grow Rich " . These men can show you the way to make money, but the goal acheiving process and visualization can be used to maintain a healthy weight and healthy lifestyle. So if you are worried about reaching the goal and not keeping the weight off, consider changing your self image. Not the clothing, the hair style, the car, the home, the bike, or the walking shoes (although good shoes are important), Visualize a new self image, an image of your inner most self, the real you in your heart and mind, see your self doing the things you want for your self, being the good person you really are inside, a good mother, a good father, a good friend, etcetera. you see deep inside under all the layers of personality, like and dislikes, the real you is there. once you got the real you, and vizualize this new person doing the things you want, start reminding yourself everyday about who this real you is and what he/she now wants and what this new he/she does every day. read the goal outloud to your self every day, repeat it through the day and when you start to sleep at night. You should stay on with the goal, your goal acheiving dates, periodically renew the dates by giving your self an extension. Keep your goal and your new self image secret. People will begin to notice the big soon enough. You won't have to tell them what is doing with your new self image. don't let the old self doubts and the old self image creep into you thinking. Focus on the new self image always. best of luck everyone who reads this from Bill ps: it is hard work , so don't take the advice thinking this is a breeze. You will have to work at it for months and months.
