Guest guest
I have the DVD s and I can tell you, it is SUPER TOUGH! If you can get through the workouts, you WILL see results. If you haven t purchased it already, you can view the videos on youtube. >Has anyone heard of the P90X program? I think I remember someone mentioning it here before. I have a friend that uses it and his pictures show great results. I want his biceps. He runs a lot of the local races around here. His website that tells about the program and shows his transformation is here >http://www.ourfitnessjourney.com/documents/60.html > >I found the set of DVDs with the routines cheap so may give it a try before trying him out as a trainer. I am pretty good learning on my own. Looks more complicated than Body for Life, but I am ready to try something new. I've been kind of unmotivated the past month. There is more than motivation issues going on, but it is part of it. > >I have been training for a 100 miler and once it is over, I would like to rebuild before committing to doing any other major races. I am not sure what I want to do. I am kind of at a crossroads right now. I need to keep moving forward so I don't backslide. > >Andy >
Guest guest
Hi Andy, I have heard of the program and tried it for about a week. I didn't think it was complicated, but it was very intense. I tried it only for a week because I have to learn that I will not see results in the first week or two and have to push my way through the program. I found it on ebay for $50.00 and had the guides emailed to me. I think it's a grat program with a great support community just like this group. > > > Has anyone heard of the P90X program? Guest guest
Andy, I am currently doing the P90X program, BUT.......only the weight portions. I have found that at my elderly age, things don't move like they used to for the yoga, plyometrics, and other stuff they have. Got 2 knees that creak and an ankle that is thinking of doing something that it's not supposed to. The weight portions don't seem to aggrivate things, tho. So, I just do the weights and leave the other stuff in the DVD sleeve. LOL Yes, I have noticed results. I even have visible tri's under the lard. :>) Z P90X - OFF TOPIC Has anyone heard of the P90X program? I think I remember someone mentioning it here before.
