Hi Tom:

Read the article. Very interesting. I think I am interested. Have been on Beta since December, 2002, and not seeing a lot of positive results. I am in remission, I think, but I want to feel better. I'm not feeling worse, just no better. I know you are on LDN. Are you having the positive results that Mr. Vetre is having? It sounds so good. Tom, my energy levels and coordination are terrible. If there is something out there that can help me, I want to try it.

Anxiously awaiting to hear from you.

Bless you, winnie

Hi Winnie,

I investigated LDN for about nine months before trying it. In all that time I simply could not find anything negative about it. The dose is so small that there truly are no side effects. Last July I called Dr. Bihari in NYC and made a telephone appt. He is a very kind and compassionate man. We spent about 2 hours on the phone, that appt. cost $450., money well spent.

I started out taking 4.5mg a night. The very first night about an hour after taking the LDN I could wiggle and curl my toes. I had not been able to do that for years with my right foot. That night I only had to get up once during the night to urinate. Up to that time it had been 3-5 times. The next day I had significantly increased leg strength and balance.

I was quite "Stiff" before I started and still am.

Dr. Bihari suggested reducing the dose to 3mg to see if the stiffness would be improved. It did not so I went back to 4.5mg.

There have been no further improvements but those mentioned have remained constant and I have not had any other or new problems.

This is the first time in 20 yrs. that I can honestly say that I have not noticed any progression in the last year or so.

Dr. Bihari wants me to keep him informed and call him every 2 or 3 months.

You know that I have shunned drugs especially "Steroids" and the "ms injectables" all these years. However, I do think that LDN is an exception.

The first few weeks I did experience some interruption in sleeping patterns but after a while this did go away.

I wish I were more disciplined and would follow "Ashton Embry's Best Bet Diet" more strictly.

Winnie, I would definitely try LDN

Regards,

Tom
