Guest guest
I did the 3 minute abs and 13 (actually a little more, as it was slow to get started so I kept adding minutes),.. of yoga. I mostly "breathed" today, and yet I feel like I have worked out. My muscles felt challenged in ways they are not in the more active exercise, as well as my flexibility. It was work holding still. Hard work. It was a nice balancing out of the active vs. the not active. It embraced all of me, and encouraged me to go inside...mindfully. All of it fits together, in a pattern I had not seen before. Tomorrow is Tae-bo, and I'm actually looking forward to it. Charlotte P.S. I am beginning to understand that it is not the minutes I do that is important. What is important that I am establishing a habit that will help me to exercise even when I don't feel like it. It is a foundation that supports the rest of my life, helping me to be more, encouraging me to keep going even when my arms are trembling from the effort. I read somewhere to be mindful of habits for they are the task-masters of the old.
