Rick:You don't have a seminar for aching, painful vets too, do you?  :-)I wish I could attend, but I have something else planned that weekend.  Which brings me to the real reason I am responding here.  Do we as a list have some sort of organizational calendar where seminars such as this can be posted so that those of us interested can find out in advance and plan for them?  I don't know about you guys, but I need as much as 6 mo to a year to plan to be out of the office for even 3-4 days for such an instructional event.  Most of the time when I find out about them, it is too late for me to fit it into my schedule.

Sally,I think in the future we will be able to announce the meeting sooner. I will decide in September or October when the next meeting will be based on demand and interest. I expect that it will be in February or March 2013. Thank you for your interest! I think that is pretty much a certainty that Mike Petty and I will be doing an 8 hour lecture/lab on myalgia, myofascial pain and treatment at the 2013 AAHA meeting in March. This will be an abbreviated course but Mike and I are going to really try to make it interesting!Rick Wall, DVM

Yes, at this point the only thing that might " cancel " the course is lack of participation.  More likely it will be overbooked.  Mike-- President, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management
