Guest guest
Hi all! Last week a colleague of mine showed me a 1 year old pit bull that had carpal flexural abnormality as a pup, but has not outgrown it. When he stands, his front legs buckle at the carpi. He can't run and play for long. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to help him? All of the previous posts I've seen are about puppies and say that they will out grow this. I thought carpal support wraps might help, especially for when he wants to go out to play. Also, what are some good exercises for strengthening this area? So far I thought of digging in sand and swimming. Any input is greatly appreciated. June Hacker-Traiger, VMD,CCRP
