Sounds like you are going to take a

lot of abx's at one time, my experience is it's best to start one and pulse

another one in, diflucin is good to take to prevent candida, it can be

hard on the liver. Flagyl is used as a cyst buster, I've been on

it for both Lyme and also for contracting c difficile which is a gi tract

infection from long term use of abx's (don't have any alcohol w/this abx,

not even mouthwash, you will get very ill, read the warnings). Make

sure you are on a good probiotic 1-2 hours before or after each abx dose.

Good luck to you!

Hello ,

It is true antibiotics (abx) affect coiling/rifing... Abx typically cause

encysting of the bacteria (spriochetes) and thus are no longer in bacteria

form where rifing can kill them... In cyst form they are protected from

most abx, rifing and most other treatments...

If you have had Lyme for a long time, I can tell you most chronic Lymies

do not get cured from abx... They may help you to feel better for a while,

this is partly because many bacteria will encyst and they are not a problem

for us in that state... BUT, when they start to morph back from cysts to

bacteria (spirochetes), one cyst will become 1 - 5 spirochetes and this

is what many on abx call a relapse and some get very ill quickly...

The Doug Coil machine you have access to is believed to be the best machine

for killing Lyme. It is very powerful and can get deep into the body...

But it will be much less effective while on abx...

The Flagyl you are taking is a very tough medicine to take for many of

us... But if you can stand it, it is a good cyst buster...

Take care,

Jim

> Hi, I recently was diagnosed with lyme, with a positive western blot,

IgM only was positive,by CDC and lab standards. The IGg was negative with

one band indeterminate. I think I've had lyme for many years, I started

having tingling nueropahties about 5 years ago, many other symptoms as well,

they improved with acupuncture and chiropractic, then worsened after I

was recently bitten. I also have high levels of candida, so I am taking

nystatin and diflucan. When I finish that I will begin a combo of 4 antibiotics.

I have a friend in town with a coil machine. She has offered to let me

use it but I have read that they are less effective when using antibiotics.

Does anyone have specific advice about this? I will be taking omnicef,

azithromicin, minocin, and flagel at the end. My thinking is to go ahead

and use it once before I start and then once when taking them. Thanks
