Guest guest
For me alcohol works the best. I would say that it gives me about a 30% reduction in annoyance. I have tried Xanax and think it works, but mixed with alcohol I think it is over 50% effective. The only problem is that is can be 100% effective, but you that is because you are passed out, so it is a fine line, between being tolerant and coherent at the same time. Has anyone ever tried Medical Marijuana for this?
Guest guest
I think alcohol works because it reduces the psychological triggers. The sight of the sounds. This puts the brain on a lower alert level and reduces overall anxiety. However, it cannot get rid of the neurological side of this problem. Guest guest
Alcohol makes it worse for me for the same reason you stated, it seems I am less able to focus my attention elsewhere. I become less able to control where I am focusing my attention. I think alcohol works because it reduces the psychological triggers. The sight of the sounds. This puts the brain on a lower alert level and reduces overall anxiety. However, it cannot get rid of the neurological side of this problem.
