Guest guest
Jen, Thanks for your thoughts. It's really quite helpful for me at this point in my adjustment. Are there any of these books that you would particularly recommend? Or should I just look in the bookstore for what seems good to me? Thanks for sharing your time, energy, feelings, etc. Dave in Silicon Valley Jen wrote: Hmmm, interesting and insightful questions. In dealing with my " new " life, I did several things. I worked very closely with my therapist, who taught me coping techniques, and I read a lot of books on inner strength and spirituality. Not necessarily religious spirituality, but finding your inner spirit and making peace with your life and yourself. [snip]
Guest guest
Jen & Dave Funny you should be talking about this now. I just started seeing a therapist yesterday and she recommended the same thing to me. Books on finding your inner strength and sprirituality. Sounds like a great idea to me. I am just going to search & Nobles and see what I can find unless someone has specific recommendations. /NH Re: Wanting Life Back - Dave Jen, Thanks for your thoughts. Guest guest
Dave, Some of them were geared towards women, but there was one book, called " The Seat of the Soul " that I found to be very good. I will have to look for the others, because the fog is preventing me from remembering right now! =) Jen
