Well, the chat room is always open so anyone could pop in anytime and see if

anyone else was there. But, I think it would also be good to set up

scheduled chats as well.

Let me know what you think.

What does MSM stand for?

Also - I'm curious if anyone here has used Norflex for pain and with

what results.

And - does anyone here practice the Technique?

Kat: Thanks for the chat room!! :) Cool! Should we try to set up

specific dates for chats and specific topics or should we just wing it?

What do you ladies think? Kat?

MSM stands for methylsulfonylmethane. It's apparently a kind of natural

sulfur. I'm going to do some net searches for it, but the majority of what

I find on suplements on the net is places that sell the product, and they

are, of course, biased towards wanting you to buy it. Here's one page I

just found in Yahoo--haven't read it yet, and they are selling it, so of

course, keep that in mind:

There's also been a thread on it recently in alt.med.fibromyalgia.

Like I said, I don't know much about it except it's supposed to help skin

and mucous membranes, and it's related to DMSO.

My candida list says it is some kind of elemental sulfa or sulfur and it

very good for candida.

Joyce,

I've suffered from chronic vaginal yeast infections for 14 years. Just

recently (in the past 6 months) I've been able to get rid of them. I

started taking MSM probably 8 months ago and have been taking it

sporadically ever since. Can't say that it's a wonder drug, but then again

I probably haven't taken it regularly enough to know. The key to getting

rid of the yeast for me was to go off my birth control pills, and a really

strict no sugar / low carb diet. FWIW!

Tommy here:

The other day I was watching TV and on one of the news show an actor

with arthritis was talking about MSM which has helped his joints. I

check the web site for MSM and it said that MSM also would help

diabetes. Has anyone ever taken MSM for their diabetes?

Thanks!

Tommy
