I have a VitaMix which works well. But for the almond butter, I'd rather use my

food processor. I have a kitchen-aid. It holds up to nuts real well.

Maybe this is not acceptable with the diet, as it processes the food, but this

guy makes almond butter with coconut oil, and he uses a lot of coconut oil!

I'm getting close to being ready to try Coconut Oil (CO), but afraid if it will

affect meds and supplements.
