Hi Tuna, I never did introduce myself, although I did get a glimpse of your

intro.

I'm Grace, mom to Sydney and Madison, who are 3.5 year old twins. We live

in Northern Cali in the Bay Area, and I'm married to Shaun. I'm 29, he's

32, and we've been married for 5 years. I sit at home and do nothing, and

Shaun is a dentist. :o)

And I would do the same thing you did, except that I am a great lover of

carpet. I have hardwood floors in half the house, but the light carpet in

the living room - - I just love. If ever it gets stained to the point I

can't get it out - - I will just get it replaced only to have it get stained

again LOL.

This is why my other name is " FOOL. "

Welcome to the list!!!

Grace

That was the plan, actually -- then our car exploded on the 11north highway on

June long weekend, and our flooring savings went to a new one. :-(

(you wouldn't believe the color of the water I'm draining outta this sucker!!!)

Once grabbed a large bottle of soy sauce, took

off the lid and hurled the bottle down the stairs. My

cream carpet was soaked, the white walls were spotted,

and the soy sauce leaked through to the store room

under the stairs. It took forever to clean it up. We

still refer to the 'soy sauce incident of '97'. I

shudder thinking about it.

Yes dear. I got the reference. It was my feable attempt at being

humorous, and again, I failed miserably.

Guess I shouldn't give up my day job, huh?

Penny - asking: would anyone like a toasted tea cake?

DH bought a very big carpet cleaner. When I did the kids playroom (when I moved

them OUT of the room, to a MUCH smaller area) The rug did look a little cleaner.

But I went over it 3 times, and the water was always this blech grey, and with

CHUNKS of stuff. I'm not changing the carpet until they're much older. Just in

case.
