It sounds as if your contractor is having a bit of a cash flow problem . . .

in other words, he's spent the money you've given him already . . . and he's

having to complete other jobs here and there to keep the money coming in to

pay his subcontractors . . . perhaps he owes them money, too, and that's why

they are not so eager to do any more work for him???

Doesn't your state have a licensing board for contractors or something???

So, what is so unreasonable about how you acted, sounds like a

perfectly appropriate conversation. Ive never heard of it taking two

months to complete a kitchen. What is this guy doing crack or

something. Does he have beer for lunch. Thats the problem with

contractors they dont really have anyone to answer to, and you get

stuck if the job isnt finished. I hope that losing your temper made

you feel better instead of worse, good to blow off steam, this

schmuck deserved it. He's lucky it wasnt my kitchen.

I just hate blowing my temper. I always end up losing all composure

if I reach this point. I literally go from meek little Asian girl,

to B*TCH from one moment to the next. Knowing me, if I go back out

there to see what he's doing, then I will undoubtedly have to keep up

with the lashing.... and then what if he takes a bat to the granite,

or wires everything for it to blow up when I try to turn it on?
