Guest guest
Ya know, Ann, PPD often comes from the sudden change in hormones. This is why some women keep a chunk of placenta and either eat it straight, or drop it in a milkshake. Now, I've never tried either, but I was sure you would want this important information. <gg> You may not feel it at all this time, and I'm hoping that is exactly the case for you. Hugs, Challis Hey Anne, One of the things to look out for with Avonex is it's ability to increase depression symptoms. 30% of people with chronic illnesses have depression, and the drug can exacerbate the problem. I had to start taking a mild anti-depressant 4 years ago after the birth of my first child due to Post Partum Depression. Well, I can't blame it on him anymore. I think living with a chronic illness can weigh us down. Sounds like you could talk to someone at least, cause this doesn't sound like the you , you described. Hope all works out for you. Wish me luck with the post-partum thing again as I am 6 months pregnant. Ann in Virginia
Guest guest
LMHO! I hear I have a relative, a bit back in the tree, who swore those pee dipies would cure acne. How funny to read this! LOL Challis That placenta story is almost as bad as the woman who would wipe her daughters pee-pee diaper on her daughters face to promote healthy skin at a later age. GROSS!! But, the grown child has some of the most beautiful skin, I've heard. I like the new approach to health care: medicate, mediate, medicate.
