Guest guest
Just a note first about rules of the group. On purpose we have minimal rules, there are only 2! 1. No spam 2. Please be kind Try to delete much of the old material - just leaving enough to indicate the thread being continued and try to remember to change the title to reflect new content. Welcome those who have just joined us and thanks for those who continue to participate by posting or reading. A notable recent "retirement" is a certain Sammy! We encourage sharing information and giving details of options that may not be given by all professionals. Eg For those newly diagnosed with tumours confined in the prostate, depending on the stage the cancer is at and how close it is to the edge. There are various options eg Active monitoring (a more active watchful waiting) Surgery - open or laproscopic External beam radiotherapy Brachytherapy (radioactive seeds) Cryotherapy High intensity Ultrasound (some in combination) I wonder if members of the group can nominate a website that gives best information on each of these and I can put them in the files area of the group?
