Guest guest
Hi all Well my son's Birthday went well, My parents and I gave him a bowling party, so all i had to do is sit there and try not to fall asleep. All the kids were fantastic and little mother hens clucking around me, which is sweet for 10 and 11 year old boys who's normal only intrests are football and who is the latest signing for Chelsea/Man U/Leeds United. I normally drive them to matches so it was really nice to see how concerned they were for me. My Daughter was looked after by her godmother so i had quality time for my son. Well i also had my home visit from my manager from work, she brought me a big coffee and muffin which was nice, she also explained that they could get help for me through the medicare gold scheme that my company are part of, she was very supportive and told me not to panic about rushing back to work. That was a big weight off my shoulders and feel a lot happier about having so much time off, i'm now in my 6th week. I still feel rubish but i am having more good days than bad, but by gosh do i know when i have done too much. Hope everyone is ok and coping with this painful condition, thank you for all your support espcially the other day when i was extreamly low, it was nice to know i was not on my own. My prayers and thoughts are with Elli and i hope for a speedy recovery. Much love to all Rach (UK)
