That's so hard to hear, Darlin', and I hope you see all of us being on here that

you can get through the hard times, and that you're not alone. I have thought

of killing myself so many times as well b/c of this condition.

Something you can say to your parents about homeschooling is that most people

make friends after high school as well, in university and things like that, so

homeschooling through high school is not as socially fatal as your parents may

think. If you already have friends from school, you should tell your parents

that you'll keep in touch with them, and try to find ways to hang out with them

so that you remain " normal " .

Try to get through it - hang in there...find your cures, your preventions...you

can do it :) We're all here pulling for you!

suicidal. I have been noticed I can't have a normal conversation without

mishearing. I have noticed I can't hear so well, except the sounds I'm sensitive

to. I can pinpoint who is making the sound. I feel helpless and alone, except on

here. I use loud music to mast all the sounds. I have bern tearing my family

apart. I can't see a doctor for a while because I got water on my knee and need

to fix that first. I daily have nervous breakdowns and can't stand school. I am

about to drop out the day I turn 16. I need some suggestions on conviencing my

parents to do homeschooling. My parents would, but they are worried about making

friends when I havr so many. They believe I need the interaction. I am scared

about holding a job when I get older.

Thanks! Is there any possibility that hearing loss makes it worse? I use my

earplugs to get by. I love my earplugs to death.

a, my teenage son has had a hard time in a large school setting. If

your parents are concerned about the lack of social interaction with home

schooling you should research home schooling groups in your area. There are

many that plan field trips and events together to keep kids involved with

others. Print the info out and share it with them. Also start thinking about a

career you could aim for which does not involve being around other people all

day every day.

An office situation is not for you. Maybe writing from home, or something that

is outdoors could be for you. Something that you enjoy you may never have

thought of. Finding something that would work would give you something to look

forward to. My son is working hard at school on his writing techniques so that

he can be a freelance writer and work from home. Knowing that he has a path has

helped to relieve that stress in his life. I hope this helps in some way.
