Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am totally new to this- I had my first bout last weekend, it all started with carpal tunnel in my left arm, and a mysterious pain in the arch of my left foot. Then the bumps appeared on my legs, I went to urgent care- they had no idea what it was!!! I self diagnosed after researching the internet. The dermatologist I saw a couple of days later confirmed this. She prescribed indomethacin. So far, 3 days later, it relieves the pain but the bruising is still there. This mediation is hard on the kidneys and I am supposed to take it for 3 weeks, supposedly it reduces the chances of FN coming back.... I will research Penidrone... ANy pointers greatly appreciated!! Guest guest
Hi Sabina, I found Ibuprofen good for the pain, although I know not everyone likes it. I also found the use of cool packs and, oddly perhaps, flight sox, to be helpful. Also a good idea to moisturise to keep the skin supple so splits are less likely.
