Guest guest
Rena, Don't read to much into it. Generally speaking you don't want to lose more than 2lb of weight per week and it looks to me that you are pretty much in there by my calculations--even a bit more. More weight loss is to be expected in the first weeks of a new program. When you start a new diet and exercise program you flush a lot of water out of your system and along with other biochemical adjustments, it is not unusual to lose 5lb in the first week. Sustaining the pattern of weight loss will be a new challenge going forward. It won't be harder, but you won't have results if you cheat on the diet. Just stick to the basics and it will come together. If I had to guess, I think she responded to the total and not the very good improvement improvement in BF. Most of us have been up there around 40% or worse so I don't take is personally, but that is not a good place to be for yourself. I am sure you know that, but that was probably when she noticed most. Also, How are you calculating BF? I have found most consumer meters to be really inaccurate... -- Kurnik http://expat-wanderlust.blogspot.com/ > > > hello, I have been dieting and working out a lot the past month.
