Guest guest
Dianne, My opinion -- I think working at any "shop" is going to be rough for you. Since at the time you aren't starving with out SSI You should look for work at home. Typing etc. maybe for lawyers - Dr. billing something at home. Make your own payments to SS so Employers won't have to. Tell them your whole story. How about an aide at a hospital ? Typing a few hours a day. Also go to a temp agency. They call you in the a.m. to see if you can work that day. You can always say NO and jobs usually last only 1 or 2 days, then several days off. Dianne - you can do this !! It's only for a short time and you really do need some of your own money. Your alot stronger than you know. You just need to find the "right " employer. By Christmas you'll be done and you can buy Christmas presents with the $$. Let me know when you want my address...and sizes. Barb
Guest guest
I think you could even do telephone soliciting at home. You don't have to get dressed up. How hard can getting the phone slammed in your ear be? in Michigan Dianne, My opinion -- I think working at any "shop" is going to be rough for you You just need to find the "right " employer. Guest guest
Diane, I was just thinking about that yesterday. You haven't said anything about your job. Probably because nobody has been kind enough to ask, thanks Barb. How are you surviving it and how much longer do you have to do it? Sorry that you are in so much pain and that I didn't reply to your question with more sympathy. I hope you know that I do care. We certainly don't want to forget our oldbies. I was thinking on the way home last night about you having to go to work but by time I got home I was too tired to get on the computer. Glad Barb reminded me. I hope you've found some relief from the pain. Peg > How is your job going ? Guess having to be on your feet all day doesn't > help with your foot problem. Guest guest
Dianne, welcome to the group. I probably missed your post weeks ago. I am behind, and I apologize. First you need to see what your test results are. I am on Avonex, it's a once a week injection. But you should discuss the meds with your doc. But you choose the one that you are comfortable with. I hope the tests went ok. Please update us with the results. Good luck. And ask us any questions you have. As Ive read some more posts the more im feel Im heading towards this diagnosis. What am I to expect? Really what I want to know, when and If i am, what can I expect to start to feel better? My balance is horrible, im dizzy now and the headaches are so bad!! Will I be hospitalized? I saw someone was in rehab? Is there a site that mentions what to expect? I havent come across any? Any help would be appreciated....
