I am a male. And you said I should also tell how I feel. I feel great! More energy, my muscles feel like they've been working but not extremely sore like they do with heavy weightlifting. I feel like my abs have been getting a workout, yet I've done no situps or crunches, etc. The balance games really target your core (abs). I've never had so much fun working my abs! It's probably best if you do this with a friend or relative so you can push each other to new high scores and to keep at it. The thing is you don't have to do it at the same time. The software keeps track of everyone's progress.

Excellent, it's pretty amazing all the stuff it can analyze for you. This is MUCH more than a video game! Have you tried the obstacle course game? I was terrible with the balance games but 5-6 days later I am much more stable a controlled with it.

That is wonderful! And do you currently work out with someone else? I think it would be awesome to make it a family thing, lets say 3 times a week and get the kiddos involved. It would be great family time and it also keeps everyone active! Too many children now a days are also obese.

I'm so glad that you've found something that works well for you! If ever you need some motivation or a little help staying on track feel free to email us! There are few things that make me happier than to see people happy and accomplishing their goals.

Well Done!! Vi

I wish I had a little one at home to do it with me:-) My little one is 20 and home from college. It was fun today playing it with her. She is much better at it then I am! I did enjoy the obstacle course but have a headache from getting bonked in the head so much lol. Apparently my coordination could use some improvement! I am going to learn to master this game I swear.

Yeah, I have a 22 year old (and very fit!) roomate. I truly enjoy beating his the high scores he has set. I just beat the high score on the hula hoop game, then beat my own high score several times. Too much fun! Is this really exercise?

LOL don't even mention that hula hoop to me! I tried it yesterday and my little character twice dropped it to the ground while I am screaming "Do you not see me moving, pick that thing up". My goal is just to get to the point where my wii character does not lower her head in shame at the end of the game. lol

I hear ya , i kept botching the soccerball one and my character was in shame

for quite a while. Then I finally got a high score. I haven't even played

enough to unlock the hula hoop one because my son deleted my account and I had

to start over.

I actually got 20 minutes in yesterday. I was going to quit after 15 but I

really wanted to unlock the penguin game. No luck yet, it gave me another yoga

set instead. So I'll do it again today and see where I get.

I managed to get my 20 minutes in while prepping for dinner and pots were

simmering. It was pretty funny when it kept saying I was fidgitting or that I

weighed more now because my toddler was grabbing onto me or stepping onto the

platform.

I need to find my wii fit plus disc. my son opened it for me and i haven't seen

it since.

happy wii-ing everyone.

I have the original wii fit & the new wii fit plus, on the original wii fit you

had to play for a certain amount of time before you could 'unlock' additional

games.

I'm guessing they have changed that on the new ones.

I found my wii fit plus disc last night, so i may pop it in today and see how

it's different.

With the Wii Fit Plus you have everything available, but when you do well enough on a game or challenge you can unlock advanced versions.

I found it and we've been having fun with it today, I'd definitely recommend to

anyone buying a wii to get the wii fit plus. way more stuff and like said,

you don't have to wait to ulock the games.

I was able to get in 40 minutes today and then i did a few crunches, stretches

and squats. I can't yet do a full set so I've been doing between 3 and 5 as I

raise my endurance. My weights got put in storage, so I " m not sure when I'll be

able to find those, but I do still have a few bungee pulls left that I used for

some arm exercises in lieu of the weights.

Right now I'm just trying to find out where my weakest points are and build them

up so I can do regular exercise again.

It's been fun rediscovering the wii with everyone.

Yep I am pretty sure I didn't reach any level to unlock anything lol. As I said my goal is just to get my character to lift up her head at the end of the game. As my daughter was leaving to get on a plane to go back to school yesterday, I told her I was going to beat her on the wii fit plus by the next time she comes home. Her response was "I am not going to be gone for years Mom." I am going to figure out this wii thing if it is the last thing I do. I hope it doesn't kill me!

There are definitely tips to know to get better scores. What games are you playing? Maybe I can give you some advice. You will do better with the balance games if you keep your knees slightly bent. I noticed that when my roomate did them you could barely tell he was moving, and I think the tendency sometimes is to lean with the upper body. Do you notice your abs feeling different?

So far I have tried the obstacle course, the general exercises, marching band, a water one. My daughter did the marching band and juggling. I think my problem is I am trying to be careful on the balance board.

Yeah, I am terrible with the juggling and marching band ones. Find ones that you enjoy and kick some tail! My favorite was the obstacle course, and I had the high score for some time. Now I have the high score with many, and apparently no one wants to challenge me. :(

I will say that with the hula hoop one the trick is to get as many hoops to twirl as possible. And the trick to that is to lean over far enough to catch them. By water one do you mean the flying game where you land on the targets?
