Guest guest
Hi all, We've been doing biomed for at least a year and a half now, GFCFSF diet, supplements, MB12, (a lot of)yeast treatment and now SCD. We have a prescription for Valtrex from our DAN but I have not filled it because my sons yeast was still high on his last OAT. I plan to do another OAT in a couple of mos and will start Valtrex if his yeast levels are down. A few questions: 1. OAT tests- do you hold supplements, probiotics and meds for a certain amt of time before collecting the urine? 2. What level should his yeast be at before starting the Valtrex? We're being pretty aggressive with his yeast treatment now and hoping to have it low or normal. 3. When to start chelation? Do you give the Valtrex a certain amount of time before trying chelation? thank you so much, as always. Kelley
Guest guest
When do you do chelation? Before or after antifungals and antivirals? Ginger Re: when to start valtrex and chelation? Personally, I wouldn't worry about yeast before starting valtrex. I would just start antifungals first and then add antivirals. You run into the distinct and real possibility of waiting a very long time if you're waiting for yeast to go down. Guest guest
I've been told (by our DAN) that chelation really tends to kick up yeast so I would start the antifungals at the very least. > > > Hi all, > > > We've been doing biomed for at least a year and a half now, GFCFSF > diet, supplements, MB12, (a lot of)yeast treatment and now SCD.
