Guest guest
For people with ON or sinusitis: Early last week I had a bad cough. By Thursday morning my right eye was really sore, like a tooth ache in my eye. It started out as twinges of pain with movement and then just became a dull ache behind my eye, towards the top. I've had this before and thought it was eye strain. Now that I know about ON I thought, huh-oh! Maybe? Especially because the word mixing was starting again and the 2 came on together. I did call my doc and told him the 2 things started together and his main concern was whether I was having double vision. I wasn't. A little blurry, but mostly only after I'd shut my eye to rest it and then things were blurry when I first opened it until things focused in. He said to leave it a couple days and see. It was still pretty bad Sat but much better yesterday and feels normal today. If not ON I was thinking sinusitis. Along with the cough I have had a little sneezing and runny nose. It was just so weird to have one eye very sore and the other perfectly fine. Reading made it a lot worse, so that doesn't seem like sinus pressure. I don't know. I was also trying to tell my doc maybe some of my balance stuff is coming from my eyes not being up to snuff (although I'm really lost balance wise in the dark). Any thoughts? Otherwise (except for having a son with a stomach virus Fri and now the 4 year old has it) I felt so good yesterday, as good as it gets. Like maybe all this has been a mistake and it'll pass in time. Then I fell yesterday in the garden when I was fussing with my seedlings. I was squatting and leaning forward on my right hand. It just went out from under me and I fell forward. I don't know what happened, and this came on the tail of my feet going out from under me at the bottom of the stairs on Friday evening. It's very discouraging.
