I'm a 48 year old woman, recently let go from work due to excessive absences, despite doctors' notes, etc. Between being unemployed and in a great deal of pain, I feel pretty crappy and in ned of support. Hence, you folks are now blessed with my presence. :-)
Guest guest
Moderator Note: C'mon everyone -- please give the moderators a break in the New Year. Tidy up your replies. Thanks. ----- Hi Lynn! Wow sounds like you have been through a lot. How do you cope? My name is . I'm 35 and from Seattle. I have chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, herniated discs, sleep apnea, diabetes. I was coping pretty well until my aging parents became ill. My mom has a rare cancer, multiple myeloma and my dad has a bad heart. I try to help them as much as I can, it's hard for me to remain lucid with my pain and pain pills exhausting me. It really hurts when loved ones can't understand. You want them to be there for you, but for what ever reason they can have a hard time with your illnesses. I always get depressed in the wintertime and with this stuff have had an interesting go of it. I picked up a new hobby which really helped me. Arts and crafts, mom suggested I start doing them. So I paint and decorate birdhouses. It's grand fun!And I got this computer for Cmas and am enjoying it. I have a parrot that I play with and she helps me get my mind off of being sick. I have a volunteer job that I love, too. So all in all I'm ok, just wish there were more hours in the day to do all my stuff and still find time to sleep! Happy New Year to you!! May 2005 see the easing of our afflictions! Lynn wrote: I wish you all a great new year!
