This is just the info available by using the whois command from one of my linux boxes. The provide is blue host, which is apparently one of the biggest in the world, so that, at least, seems legit. Or at least as legit as any 4 buck-a-month hosting service can be. And a few minutes of google-foo got me http://www.thedailydecibel.com/2010/06/article-on-misophonia-by-rose-kivi.html. So possibly legit. Or, again, at least as legit as anything else on the intarwebs. Regards,Rob Does anyone know who/what this is? Should we trust it? Is there anyone techie out there who can track where it comes from? http://www.rosekivi.com/survey.html -- Don't think of me as evil. Think of me as exploring alternative moralities. Guest guest
Rose Kivi is an author who wrote an article about Misophonia in the school student in 2009: http://www.brighthub.com/education/k-12/articles/27648.aspx I and a few others from this forum and from Misophonia UK have responded to this article since then. Rose Kivi seems genuine to me. She is not trying to sell anything and she seems interested in and concerned about misophonia. She is not a qualified health professional, however, as far as I can see. She has contacted the Sensory Processing Disorder crowd and also written this interesting article: http://www.healthguideinfo.com/neurological-disorders/p100641/ See also: http://www.sensory-processing-disorder.com/sound-sensitivity-survey.html She is trying to gather more information about misophonia, which seems like a reasonable thing to do. She obviously has some practical skills in organising grass-roots research and writing interesting articles, although her work is not at the level of " peer-reviewed journal article " . Anyway, that is my take. Those with better social radar than I may wish to add their comments. > > Does anyone know who/what this is? Should we trust it?
