Being a group owner...And looking at it from that stand point....I will say this, and I know that other group owners do this as well and I am strongly thinking of doing this myself now...BUT, you can Moderate the NEW COMER. Not us those you know, who are real and have been here a long time and participate an really do have MS. But you can Moderate the New Comers for a certain amount of time, to make sure that they are a Real Email address for One and Two if they are spam..you are going to get word first not the group and you just handle it right then and there...BOOM not one problem then. I have little or no tolerance for spam in my own regular email..the last thing we need is to start having it over run in the group. If you do it this way, you have (in the great word of Barney Fife) nipped it in the bud.

Hi, I'm still lurking, quietly over here in the corner. I am keeping

up with the messages and praying for everyone, and trying to to

figure out where my (usually) much milder stuff fits in with the

things y'all are describing.
