Guest guest
Hi, My child's booster shots are coming up and the current ped already has said " no " to titers because she says they are not accurate? This is the fifth ped we've tried because of bad reactions in the past. I don't want the boosters and had a letter ready but was told " You HAVE to do the boosters. " Are all pediatricians like this? Any willing to give single doses in Oregon or consider your request not to vacccinate? We vaccinated in the past so the letter saying we are not vaccinating for religious reasons seemed unbelievable. I guess we'll be looking for another pediatrician. Thanks, Cer

Guest guest
If necessary, say you've had a religious conversion since the original vaccination! Guest guest
There is no law against changing your religion. And it is none of your pediatrician's business that you have changed your religion. > >Reply-To: csb-autism-rx >To: csb-autism-rx >Subject: re: booster vaccinations >Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2006 21:53:55 -0000 > >Hi, >My child's booster shots are coming up and the current ped already has >said " no " to titers because she says they are not accurate? Guest guest
The physician sounds like another footsoldier in the Gestapo for Vaccine Orthodoxy. You might try http://www.nvic.org and see if you can find info about boosters, perhaps even on a state-by-state analysis. Odd that the supposed hallowedness of vaccine efficacy is often presented in peer-reviewed studies that use titers as the primary measure. ceruleansun2000 wrote: >Hi, >My child's booster shots are coming up and the current ped already has >said " no " to titers because she says they are not accurate? Guest guest
Know your laws. There is no reason you can't change your mind about vaccinating. Peg is right- " you've had a conversion. " It isn't even up for discussion. The details of it shouldn't be up for debate. Know your laws. You just turn a form or letter into the school stating your philosophical or religious exemption (depending on the state you live in). Most peds will say you must vaccinate. We ignore ours and they have never asked us to leave the practice. Our ped said she disagrees with our decision, but she respects it. I hear of people having more luck with docs who are " family practice " docs. We sent our son to kindergarten this year. Because he was in the preschool program they had a copy of his shot record. I then claimed religious exemption and no questions were asked. Legally they can't ask questions. It's our right to claim the exemption. Best wishes, > Hi, > My child's booster shots are coming up and the current ped already has > said " no " to titers because she says they are not accurate? Guest guest
--Don't go back to the fool. Find a family practitioner or a dan in your area and use them for a primary. Doesn't matter if you have to pay out of pocket. Your already paying out of pocket to attempt to correct the previous reactions from vaccines. With previous reactions and the natzi attitude of this fool I'd stay clear. Dump this medically brain damaged fool and do not let this person near your child.
