Guest guest
Hey : I also wonder if any one is seeing Dr. Cush on a regular basis and what they think of his treatment? I have thought of financing a trip to see him if it would help me be better as I seem not to be getting very far. If anyone could speak about whether this would probably be worth it or not that would be great. Thanks [sPAM] Re: new drug approval , I live in Arkansas, but the rest of my family lives in Texas. They are spread out all over- Arlingtion, , Keller, College Station, Irving, and thats only a few. My Rheumy here has spoke to Dr. Cush a couple of times after he had given some lectures here in Little Rock, she told him about my case being so complicated and he wanted me to come to Dallas so he could actually see me himself. Between the Still's, B-cell Lymphoma, and all the surgeries taking out bit by bit my stomach and colon, I tend to be somewhat complicated. Since I cannot take any of the biologics anymore, due to the fact that all my docs are now convinced the Enbrel is what caused the B-Cell Lymphoma, don't want to scare anyone off of taking Enbrel, very rare thing to happen. And sad part is the Enbrel was working. Anyway, Dr. Cush had mentioned that it was very rare to have Still's start systemically first. But after all the biopsies of all my insides that were taken out showed what they needed to know if it was the Still's. Dr. Cush mentioned that there had been another IL-6 drug come out called Simponi, he said he would like to try it with me and see what happens. Currently I am on Rituxan, MTX, Plaquenil, and Prednisone. Thanks for responding back, I was seeing if anyone had actually seen him as a regular patient, they say it is hard to get an appointment with him. Other problem is paying for his visit. Take care,

Guest guest
, Depending on where you live, there is a Dr. Ed Parrish at the Cleveland Clinic that is very knowledgeable about Still's. At least that is where I think he is located. ________________________________
Guest guest
Hi , I see him and he certainly does seem to know a lot about it. He checks out your stats thoroughly and does some kind of graph chart or something to make sure that it is in fact Still's that you're dealing with. My first appt was 3 hours long.
