Guest guest
Hi Theresa Well with some its pain or feeling sick or bloated after a fatty type meal. With me it was absolutely the worst pain imaginable during the night. I couldnt lie down hardly breathe the pain was so bad. Like someone had a belt around my ribs and was tightening it. I was on my knees leaning over the bed for an hour. Almost thought it was like a heart attack but a bit lower for me. I had the same pain about 10 years ago and the ultrasound showed what they call sludge. tiny grit. Anyway I told my doc(didnt want to go to emergency all that way at 3am) and he said oh we will do a checkk up and they found multiple stones one is 5mm and the duct is 4mm. he said its the small ones that are the danger signs as they can travel and cause the problems somewhere else. then you get jaundice and other infections. He also said as I am fairly young better to get it out now before it got worse. My grandmother died from a ruptured gall bladder and my fathers was rotted so I wont take the risks of waiting I dont think. Even now that there is no pain it feels like the right side of my spare tyre gets in the way. I kept blaming my waistband rubbing but it sort of pulls when I bend over sometimes. hope that helps. Are you getting twinges??? Cheers Lee To: bronchiectasis Sent: Wednesday, 1 April, 2009 9:11:29 PMSubject: Re: Digest Number 2535 Lee What are the symptoms of gall bladder problems? Guest guest
Lee No everything is fine in that department. I'm seeing a specialist in a few months about some varicose veins that have developed. Once they are sorted the referring dr can "mop up" as he put it, the spider veins. It's taking months to see this dr. There must abe a lot of varicose veins in Melbourne! I have to see an ENT guy again soon. I'll probably have my sini washed out with saline. I'm not exactly looking forward to it. Keep well everyone.
