Guest guest
It was my understanding Lamisil is pretty much devoid of the liver problems of the other anti-fungals. It is just expensive and insurance companies try desparately to avoid having to pay for it. I have heard one of the " alternative witch doctor " types say it doesn't stay in the lumen of the gut very well, so if you are treating intestinal candida you need lamisil + nystatin. Guest guest
I've heard that Diflucan is the best, but also very expensive (about $10 a pill) if you don't have good insurance.
Guest guest
--- My boys are on sporanox capsules the oral tasted awful and they couldn't get the right amount to fix the diarrehea. My youngest was on diflucan and it worked only for alittle while. The sporanox has control both boys behavior and made them more talkative and more able to learn their speech. Their stools have been normal for months now and everything seems to be going away like the rashes are gone now and the behavior of laying and crying and seeming confused or speech really jibberish are alot better. But my boys take this every day! Along with other meds. Good luck! I have been battling regression for both boys and it is somehow for them controlled with this med.Nystatin didn't do anything but for a week.Diflucan didn't get the rashes around the mouth gone just made them seem to look better. But the oral sporanox didn't work on the youngest the doctor and us felt like due to the adding of liquids to chase it down wasn't allowing it to due it's full potential. Once the youngest started taking a half a capsule he had normal stools within a couple of days and have been that way for a while. My youngest started this off and on for a few months after 5 shots and he has had loose stools since (never before these shots)until now! This started in August and he is finally having normal bowels now. But only while he is on the med.My doctors know that when their bowels go their minds regress and for them this is controlled with sporanox and nothing else. Good Luck!
