Guest guest
I did it..I joined Curves. I went with a friend, who did not join, and we giggled at how strange it was....not typical exercise at all. Well, typical in that it's not the aerobics classes I'm used to. I was dreading doing the recovery pad part because I thought it " looked " weird......but when I started it, I loved it! I joined Thursday, did my first exercise that day, and went back Friday morning. The only complaint I have is that I pulled something in my neck, and last night it was very painful and I couldn't turn my neck. It's still slightly painful this morning, but much better. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out which machine I did that on so that I can take it easier this coming week. Any Curves people with any ideas? I was totally aghast when the newspaper reporter showed up and took my picture. He asked me for my name and I did NOT want my picture in the paper. Fortunately, he didn't put it in....I think he saw the stress on my face. Our Curves has been open a week now and I think it's going to be a big hit here. I did tell the manager yesterday that she was just too perky, I was NOT a morning person, that I didn't want to be here, but my inner resolve was making me do it. LOL I think I need to apologize to her on Monday morning. She was just WAY too perky and peppy for my tastes that early in the morning! I think it's going to be a good exercise program and I'm really glad I joined! Lyn
Guest guest
Congratulations on your decision to join Curves, Lyn! It sounds like you're enjoying it, and that's what really counts after all. I know what you mean about perky people...that's why I cannot deal with Austin! I hope your neck feels better soon, and that you felt better leaving that morning than you did when you went in! Amyzan > I did it..I joined Curves.
