Guest guest
Good Morning to All: Prior to getting Still's I spent 5 years " on the road " living in hotels combining my job with the Air Force (civilian instructor) with personal travel. For those of you who have never been to Las Vegas may I suggest searching web - Bureau of Tourism Las Vegas. I always emailed the Bureau of Tourism for any city that I am planning to travel to and request that they send me goodies. You often can get 2 for 1s that way. Also if you belong to AAA go to their travel department and ask for data on Las Vegas or your local travel agency. With regard to cost of food - dining establishments have the menu posted outside of the entrance so that you can see in advance with costs will be. Also buffets are a great way to dine at dinner. Suggestion - do not rent a car. Some hotels charge for parking too. There are plenty of cab services and sight-seeing tours that will pick you up at or near the hotel. Also available is a metro/subway that goes from one end of the strip to the other and you can get various trans-pases (1 day/2 day etc) unlimited number of times off. Perhaps I can attend in 2011 but for the time being I am " grounded " - under medical orders not to travel via boat - plan - train. Regards from in Philadelphia ________________________________
