~Wacker-Belsil DMC 6038: Water Dispersible Dimethicone! DMC 6038 is a white

waxy dimethicone with a very low melting point. It offers the formulator an

opportunity to include the skin and hair conditioning benefits of dimethicone in

products that do not contain oils or emulsifiers, such a spray detanglers,

~Cyclomethicone NF: Cyclomethicone is a volatile silicone of low viscosity. Dry

perfume sprays, body sprays, linen sprays, home fragrances, etc can be created

instantly. Cyclomethicone is known as a " dry " carrier because the majority of

this silicone evaporates, leaving only the fragrance behind. When used in

creams, lotions, etc...cyclomethicone reduces the greasy feel of oils, improves

spreadability, offers excellent skin feel, and is non-comedogenic. Silicones

~PolyQuat- 10LR: Cationic conditioning agent from cellulose. Because of

PolyQuat-10LR’s cationic nature, it is very substantive to protein substrates.

This makes it an excellent hair care additive, which provides: Anti-static

properties, Superb wet combability, Good manageability, Curl retention, Hair

setting characteristics. This agent has been specially manufactured to leave

very little residue or buildup on hair, so hair reatins its natural shine and

~Carbomer 940: Suspension agent & thickener for aqueous phases. Carbomer 940

efficiently thickens products such as shampoos, shower gels, hair gels, etc in

addition to being a suspension agent. Suspension actually has nothing to do with

viscosity. A product as thick as mud will allow jojoba beads to settle, while a

water-thin gel containing Carbomer can suspend ball bearings. Carbomer offers

you the opportunity to add excellent and stand-apart aesthetics to your

products, such as jojoba or lipo beads. PLUS the thickening efficiency of

Carbomer is NOT effected by the presence of fragarnce or essential oils. Read

~Super Mild Surfactant Blend: A lovely, high foaming, super mild blend of

naturally derived surfactants: Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate and Disodium Laureth

Sulfosuccinate. Excellent compatibility with other raw materials, and very mild

to skin and hair.

~Polyglucose/Lactylate Surfactant Blend (Decyl Glucoside and Sodium Lauroyl

Lactylate):an ULTRA mild blend of naturally derived surfactants.

Polyglucose/Lactylate Blend is SO mild it can be used at a ratio of up to 70%,

but you'll never need that much because it produces excellent, silky foam with

loads of lather. The Lactylates are ultra mild, because they are derived from

Lactic Acid, a natural moisturizing factor constituent of skin. Leaves skin

clean, conditioned, and moisturized!

~Coco Betaine: an amphoteric secondary surfactant derived from Coconut Oil. Coco

Betaine has excellent foaming characteristics, and is extremely compatible with

other raw materials, as well as polar ingredients. We like to use it in

combination with the Super Mild Blend.
