Guest guest Posted April 19, 2005 Report Share Posted April 19, 2005 Don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but Guy Briggs from Somerset is running the 900 miles from o' Groats to Land's End ( the length of mainland Britain) to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity. We think running one marathon is pretty incredible but this 26 year old is running a marathon a day for 30 days !!! AND what is even more remarkable, he is the first person to do it unsupported, carrying all he needs on his back. Tonight he is 20 miles south of Liverpool after having some injuries but is back on the road. About 500 miles completed through snow, ice and heavy rain, especially in Scotland. Anyone in the counties south of Liverpool, Bristol or the West Country may like to get some publicity or raise some funds for the prostate cancer cause.
