Guest guest Posted July 9, 2010 Report Share Posted July 9, 2010 Hi Joanne, I have always taken natural bio-identical progesterone, I only took the synthetic a few days when I ran out of the natural, but my great bio-identical progesterone is gone. My doctor switched to another company and this new bio-identical natural progesterone is different-- it's too strong and that's why I'm cutting back, that's the only reason. I don't feel right taking it, I feel tired and a little blue. I need only half my usual dose with this new vendor because it's too strong. I rarely ever eat sugar and no white flour, no grains now, but rarely for many years, only when I'm eating out. I don't keep it in my house for yrs so I have no temptation. last two days I start day with protein not cereal and feel different, but did get dizzy, but understand why. I'm sure I'll detox from meds maybe and other things. What you said makes sense. My cholesterol is high when I only ate chicken/lamb, lots of veggies and cereal and no other bad food except for brown rice cakes. I should not have had high cholesterol, but dr said it was due to thyroid. I'd love to add butter back. I'm in overload so doing this diet blindly as burned on doing research unless it strikes my fancy. I think I was told what ratio of protein, fat etc. so I will look through saved info. Maybe I'll see if I can find it now. My veggies are almost always mixture of brocolli, cauliflower and carrots. I'm worried about carrots. But they are pre-washed and pr-packaged and mixed together and I need it simple Joanne. I eat a big bowl of veggies at night, the whole bag 20 grams of carbs + 12 carbs with Corvalen M and I may have to stop rice milk and veggie patties. Before going out tonite I had 2 veggie patties 7 g of carbs each so that's 14. It's adding up. 3 grams of carbs with rice milk in my coffee. I want to do this right. I didn't have almonds but they add up to 8 grams of carbs and I have one small packet a day of raw almonds usually but not today. Today I had 49 carbs, and I think that is high from what I read, but will keep working on it. Going to lose veggie patties, can I substitute avocados? Or too much fat? They're a great food. 20 veggies 12 Corvalen 14 veggie patties (usually only 7 a day if that) 3 rice milk ____ 49 (usually total of 42 grams of carbs a day right now) 42 grams of carbs, that's high, cutting out cereal in not enough. I just think so much animal like chicken and lamb are not healthy. I was vegan 20 years when I was pretty healthy. I can drink black cofee, yuck, but I've done it b4. Get rid of veggie patties and rice milk (love my rice milk, may keep it Okay my friend getting on with this diet and enjoying doing it.
