Guest guest
I second this notion that has stated down below. Don't fall for all the crap about these new devices. They are just money mongers selling to the desperate people that want their lives back. A good clean diet, slow excersize, Sleep, plenty of sunshine, vitamins, and alot of water will make any Fibro patient feel at least 95 percent better. Cut the sugar completely out of your diets, cut out the processed unnatural foods that are in packages, buy fresh instead, and learn how to cook. Stop eating at fast food restaurants, their food is pretty much all processed foods. Think about the oils that your putting into your body. Extra virgin, first cold pressed is an excellent oil, and so is flaxseed oil. Coconut oil too for that matter. Think about the butter that your using, start reading the ingredients on the back of everything that you purchase, and I mean EVERYTHING. I had to learn to do this too. I am still learning every single day about this or that, and what does and what doesnt help with my Fibromyalgia. Even your frame of mind, your thoughts effect your well being every single day. Try to stay focused on staying positive. Trust me it helps. Try to move around as much as possible too, if you sit all day or lay all day, your body will stiffen up on you which is not going to help what so ever. Make sure your getting enough Magnesium. Magnesium relaxes the muscles, up to almost 95 percent of Americans are deficient in Magnesium. Specially Fibro patients, we are deficient in all kinds of Vitamins and Minerals, and I'm a firm believer that disease stems from being deficient in this or that. Minerals too for that matter. Take an Epsom Salt bath to help relax the muscles and help release toxins out of the body. If you don't own a bath then use a foot tub. Every little thing that you do to help yourself will slowly improve your condition. Also if you can find someone to give you massages on a regular basis really helps. Yes it might hurt at first, but the outcome is amazing. If you would like to try some natural ORGANIC herbs, the very best website that I have found is Mountainroseherbs dot com. At least thats the one that I trust, but also before you decide to start using herbs to help you out some, please do some reading up on herbs before you try this one or that one. Like Red Clover for instance, is a wonderful wonderful herb, but its not good for women that have any problems with their Uterus, like Fibroids or something like that because Red Clover is estrogenic, and will only encourage further growth of Fibroids if you do happen to have them.. So please read up on any new herbs that you would like to try. I prefer herbs over chemicals, as they are God given natural things for us to utilize. To each their own. I hope you all have had a wonderful Easter weekend, Much love, Carol Ann To: fibromyalgiacured From: studiosanmiguel@... Date: Mon, 5 Apr 2010 08:33:05 -0700 Subject: new products, new gadgets for new people Recently I read about a 'wand' that heals about everything in the market and in this site lately. Whenever I hear about something 'new' in the our fibro site my cautionary atennas stick up pretty high. This concerns me especially for the new members who have just been welcomed to our site. So this is a cautionary tale to our new readers: About three and half weeks ago I answered a call to a 'Patients with Fibromayalgia' meeting. A woman began speaking to the small group and telling even more dire news on new found facts about this disease. Then low and behold, she pulls out two little wands that is supposed to cure everything. My 'self' went into caution zone but decided to stay and see what this little (it seemed to me) circus was all about. After her talk she asked for volunteers to try out this new gadget. She had patients lay down on temproary cots and put the two short wands on each side of the neck. Sooooo, I tried it. The girl picked up my neck(causing pain) and put the wand on each side and held it there. 'Oh,', she exclaimed, 'She will be a good candidate. I slowly sat up and asked what she meant, she then proceeded to explain about the three free treatments and other treatments available after the free ones. Well to make the long tale short, I did not make the appointments, I was in pain for ten days and those wands did not deliver. So this is only a word of advice from an old sage( a very old sage): Don't let the pain and misery of Fibro make you spend on products that promise a cure until you are absolutely sure it works. There are many sites that pop up out of the blue to make all kinds of claims. I am not saying do not buy the products but, again, do not let the pain do the purchasing of every product that comes your way. Again, for our new fibro friends especially, this illness can be controlled and practically cured or put in remission through diet and natural cures. Just ask what you are looking for and we will answer your questions. I live an almost normal life now...I am even working in the garden after I was bedridden or using a cane for several years! This due to healthy 'natural' diet with no processed or refined foods, plenty of vitamins, and more. Hope this has helped.
