Hello BFLers!

I've been BFLing on and off for a while and just getting back into it

again.

I need to build up the muscles in my lower back and I usually do an

exercise that I call a 'reverse situp'...but when I looked it up

online, that is not what I've done. Can anyone tell me the correct

name for this exercise I explain next? There is usually some kind of

bench or platform where you hold your lower body up by your feet and

you lower and raise your upper body to workout the lower back. I

think you could also lay down on your stomach on a bench and have

someone sit on your legs then lower and raise your upper body. You

can also hold a plate in your hands to increase the intensity. It's

hard for me to explain, but hope someone can help tell me what it's

called.

The exercise is not part of my BFL routine, just one I need to do to

keep my lower body in shape due to a congenital condition...well it's

the only one I know of and it seems to work good anyway.

thx,

April F.

It sounds like you are talking about the back crunch. You can find it here:
