THe side effects that she has are tingling in her arms and I believe a stiff neck. Topamax is also used for seizures. A couple of them had trouble with the "stupid" side effect, as they called it (said it made them "very stupid") and one had to stop for that reason alone. I've heard others complain of it as well, though not to that degree. Another friend's daughter was on the med when it was coming out, and they thought it was wonderful and found no ill-effects. Not much, but it's all I know. I couldn't remember anything and you know how you are suppose to do something and forget well I would never remember even being told to do something in the first place. I did not believe my husband when he would say I told you that this morning, I would get in huge fights with him until my daughter jumped in and started saying the same thing. I was consistantly transposing numbers and dates and times. Now that I don't take it anymore; I AM NEVER LATE OR INCORRECT ABOUT ANYTHING!!! THIS IS NOT TRUE! lol BUT MY FAMILY IS LESS STRESSED NOW!!
