Good Morning Everyone: I wanted to share some information with you. I have enrolled in a "HEART SMART FOR WOMEN" class and so far it is very good. It is a free class and all the medical tests are free. They have received a grant for this. I have to go once a week for 3 months and after that I will be in a tracking program for 2 years. So far it has been mostly on motivation or lack of it and exercise and eating the right portions.

Yesterday I had to walk for 3 minutes while I was timed according to how many laps I did. I had to use my walking sticks to do it but I did 9 laps.

Anyway the site I wanted to share is:

http://www.mypyramid.gov

It is really neat. You can track every thing you eat for the day.

You enter the food and it gives you a list to choose from. you click on that and it puts it in your tracking for the day. From there you click on it and it asks you for the amount you ate and it figures all the information from there. You are supposed to do this for everything you eat during the day. It saves the information and you keep adding to it during the day. It figures the nutrients and everything.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

You can also track your activities for the day.

You do have to register but it is free.

We finally got rid of all our ice and some very nice guys came by yesterday and cleaned up all the fallen trees that had fallen across our driveway. Can you believe they did that and they wouldn't take any money for it. They are going around helping whoever needs it.

I didn't even know some of them.

May God bless them!

Have a nice day - Shirley from Southern Illinois
