Guest guest
My number one all time absolute favorite moronic statement is, " Take it easy....don't want to strain or hurt yourself! " Call me cynical, rude, whatever, but when you attempt to stand from a sitting position and you can't straighten your legs because you sat for more than ten minutes, the last thing you need to hear is- " take it easy now " . Take what easy? And what the heck am I going to hurt? Every inch of me hurts everyday, allday. Hellllloooo! Take it easy, ya! I tip over from weak ankles,(it closely resembles cow-tipping) so I need to use a cane, mostly in the winter. so, picture this..I'm hobbling across the room, using my cane but I have to stop ever few steps, because the pain in my hands and arms from tendenitis is killing me to lift the cane. My other half comes into the room, sees me walking (Ya!) and says, " Oh, hun, please take it easy! " Tell me how to get across the room if I Take It Easy??? just venting, thank you, in NH
Guest guest
Oh my !! My long lost twin… I too am a fellow fallee/cow-tippped and have to take a break from walking with my cane due to ‘tennis-elbow’ that settled in last march along with a shoulder impingement that started in 1996..no worries, my short term insurance case workers say I am the picture of health. Let it out, let it all out , pardon my chiming in on your vent…. Familiar, very familiar! Take care :-)
Guest guest
So, you're the picture of health?!? EEverybody has an opinion! But you notice no one asks our opinion because we will tell it straight cause anyone living like this doesn't have time or patience to beat around the bush and god help them if we're honest! (ok, breathe) OK, all better now. Thanks. in NH > > I too am a fellow fallee/cow-tippped and have to take > a break from walking with my cane due to `tennis-elbow' that settled in > last march along with a shoulder impingement that started in 1996..no > worries, my short term insurance case workers say I am the picture of > health. Guest guest
Ha! Oh how I needed to hear that….. maybe that’s where I went wrong….I was honest … I knew I should have taken that right turn at Albuquerque!! Thanks again … This picture of health just had Kadian added to the pain regime and Adrenal Insufficiency added to the list of diags. Ok….ahhh, better now :-)
