Guest guest Posted January 15, 2010 Report Share Posted January 15, 2010 Hi all, I went to the orthopedist today and found that my ankle has severe tendonitis. I guess just too much too soon on it. He would have put it back in a cast he said but I have to be the driver right now so he prescribed the boot again and to go back into therapy three times a week. He will see me again in three weeks and if the swelling is down he will then put some sort of special ankle brace on it for a while. I put the boot on when I got home and it did give it that added support and helped it feel better. I just have to remove it when I drive. I am so relieved that I don't have to have surgery. I just need to give it more of a rest. Thank you all my friends for your support. I have managed to reschedule most of our appointments until next month in hopes of cutting down on all the driving. Anything off our mountain is 40 miles one way plus wherever your going to so it is the hardest having to do all this traveling lately.
