Guest guest
I was talking to a friend of mine Thurs night. She was a former member of my Toastmasters group. She dropped out due to health issues. I had called her to check on her. She has.....fibromyalgia. Surprise! She was also dx with hypothyroidism and iodine deficiency. We had a great talk for almost an hour. She told me about something she had discovered about flours. She said that flours were made with something like bromine or bromide (can't remember exactly) in them now (part of processing). Anyways, this inhibits thyroid production. Isn't that interesting? More people are having problems with their thyroid and other autoimmune disorders. It seems that the best thing to do is to grind your own wheat from your own berries so you do not get other stuff in it. Is this a conspiracy with the pharmacy companies so they will sell more drugs? Just joking...not really. Something to think about. I read a book recently about tests that you do not really need and meds you do not really need. It was very interesting. Talked about osteoporosis and other things being a disorder that drug companies came up with to see drugs. What do you think of this stuff in our bread products? maryruth
