Guest guest
, First off, I want to wish you a happy belated birthday. I did not realize it, and I apologize for not doing so on time. I do hope your birthday was as happy as it could be. At least there was no EN flare, so that had to be a wonderful day right there! Second, I am glad that we were able to raise some money towards funding for EN. I am sure the Debbie you are refering to was not me, as I only donated the one time right to NORD. I know there is at least one other on the list. But no matter who sent what, we have all got to team up together and get this beat. How much is the info on this site worth to you? Perhaps $5? I'm just saying... The few on here who have given over $50 have lessened the amount "needed" by everyone else. If you have a FaceBook or MySpace accounts, put a message somewhere on your 'wall' or 'page' and let people know about NORD and EN. Thank you and painfree wishes to all. Hi Everyone,Thanks to those who wished me a happy 63rd birthday yesterday! It was a happy birthday week and I heard from many old friends--from as long ago as my JHS days. So many nice wishes--I may have to celebrate my birthday more often ;-)I sent the donations made through my poetry site for our EN Research Fund off to NORD, giving them a breakdown of each donor's name and address and amount of donation. I also asked them for a grand total figure so that we will know how close we are to the $35,000 goal we need to reach to get the research started. There was a total of $237 donated and we had 7 donors. Debbie donated several times. Those who were left out but who still want to donate, in any amount, may still do so either through my poetry site of on their own. Remember the end of the year is coming and you can claim your donation as a charitable write off. It might just keep you in a lower tax bracket ;-)Below is the info you need to donate. Anyone may donate--friends, co-workers, relatives.I t's a worthy cause and we all need to pull together to find the cure or treatments we need.http://poems2order.wordpress.com/donate-to-erythema-nodosum-research/Remember: Together Everyone Achieves MORE! = TEAMWhatever you can contribute will help our team, and together WE CAN END EN!Love,http://poems2order.wordpress.com/GoodSearch: You Search...We Give!" src="http://www.goodsearch.com/_gfx/gs-cause-120x60.gif" width=120 height=60>Please enter Erythema Nodosum.........Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Debbie and Group, Thanks! The Debbie in Katy, Texas donated several times. Everyone's address was given to NORD and I asked NORD to send each person a " receipt " so they could have it for tax purposes. Some people are really good at fund raising. They just decide to do it and tell some friends and collect a boatload of cash. If you are one of those special people, please consider helping all of us raise the funds we need. Of course we feel the Gov't should be funding the research. But that won't happen, especially now when the USA [and most European countries] are in recession. It is up to us to fund it ourselves. The faster we raise the funds the sooner we'll get the answers we need. Before we teamed up with NORD there was no way to fund EN Research. Now there is, so we really owe it to ourselves to get busy and get better. Love, EN since '68 in Remission now.
