Guest guest
Dear Ben, I do not know your lifestyle or diet. I do know the excessive suffering of pain you are experiencing. I take Aleve because I have problems with liver and Ibuprofen taken regularly can harm this organ. I avoid all starches including potatoes since these brings on the pain. What has really helped is acupuncture but many aren't too exited about this treatment. Besides it working for a large percentage of people, there are those in the small percentage group it does not. But it helps if done on a regular program rather than sparadically. I have also experienced great pain relief by taking Braggs unfiltered apple cider vinegar with a bit of water in small doses daily until the pain subsides. I also discovered diet makes a difference. I do avoid sugar, this can be like a poison for us Fibros. Long hot baths help for  pain and relaxing techniques is comforting. There were days I sobbed aloud from the excruciating pain. But after following these steps, it has helped a bit. I find myself with hardly any pain now, just have fatigue I fight daily with some joint pains and aches. But, then again, I just say I am in remission. Too much beef also can lead to a build up of uric acid leading to pain. So it is a hit and miss tactic type of practice. I suggest you begin taking certain foods off your diet to test if it alleviates your pain. Begin with the breads. Hope I helped somewhat. Take Care, God bless, I will pray for you, Marie Subject: Trouble getting diagnose To: fibromyalgiacured Date: Monday, February 22, 2010, 9:23 PM  I have been battling to get pain medicine treatment you name it.
