Ugh...I think I'm having an EN flare up. >:(

Hi, I don't post here much...I was diagnosed with EN about seven years ago. I

had the nodules, and extreme joint pain. A few times a year it seems I get flare

ups. They are never as bad as the " original " , but usually a joint or two will

bother me.

I suspect I'm having a flare up now, and if so, it's the most serious flare up

so far. Red nodules on both shins, stiff joints and my right shoulder is KILLING

me. At first I thought I just strained my rotator cuff from the dance classes

I'm taking this summer. Now I suspect it's EN rearing its' ugly head!

I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm not having fever or an inibility to walk like

the first onset. My rheumatologist is gone he moved out of state, and my family

doctor never really understood what was going on, so he wouldn't be valuable. I

was given a round of steroids the first time. Perhaps I should just ride it out;

it usually goes away.
