Guest guest
Little known fact: Lyme's disease usually returns as negative. The only way to know for sure is if you are presetnign symptoms, regardless of test results, go on the treatment anyway. If you get better, then you know it was a false negative. I have a friend who suffered for a long time with Lyme's but always tested negative. They finally just put him on the medicine anyway and he got better. She didn’t have it. Has anyone on here had their youngsters checked for Lyme? It'll be easier to see it on a more newly-infected child vs. me who would have been exposed 40+ years ago. Guest guest
I am a new member of the group. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease 4 years ago but probably have had it for many years. It took a long time to figure out what was wrong until I found an knowledgeable doctor who was able to give me the correct tests and direct me to a Lyme literate doctor. My sound sensitivity came on suddenly last December. Some days it is worse then other and sometimes it is almost unbearable. It has affected the a quality of my life to a great degree because I have to avoid many situations that cause discomfort such as resturants, stores, social event, even church. I sometime have to put ear plugs in at work. Lyme can definitely cause sound sensitivity. If you want to know more about Lyme go to the International Lyme and Associated Disorder Society website at www.ILADS.com Also see the movie, " Under our Skin " - which is an eye opener.
