Guest guest
My wrist that was worst affected I could tell for several days that somehting was up even before it was visibly swollen .(it kept feeling swollen) (but then it swelled up a lot) It was the joint on me (left wrist) that swelled the most. My problem was so much shorter lived and so much milder than what so many of you are deaing with. I feel for you all so much! Mine was very scary even in the ay it was to go from so healthy to hobbling and not able to use my hands right. I worried about work. I cannot imagine kiki going from running that marathon to this so fast! I mean I can, because of what I experienced but what she is dealing with is sooo much worse. My heart goes out to each of you and I want healing for you all so much! chantelle Are your ankles visibly swollen, or do they just feel swollen? Mine feel like they are, but you can not see any swelling. I have also had swollen balls of my feet, the one under the 2nd toe. First on my left foot, and affected my 2nd toe, sore and stiff. Then several months later, my right got the same way, but it is lasting much longer. The ball is not as swollen, and the toe is much more sore then the left one ever was, which is gone btw. Well, hope you feel better... Debbie 5-7en To: erythema_nodosum_Group Sent: Sat, December 11, 2010 6:35:00 PM Subject: For anyone who's ever experienced the ankle swelling...HELP! If anyone here has suffered from this debilitating swollen ankle syndrome, how long did it last for you and what did you find that was helpful with recovery? I have had it almost a week now. I can finally walk on them about 50 feet, but my ankles show no sign of life, as they are still burried deep within some swelling. Very strange. Thanks! Guest guest
For me, it was the feeling so burnt out. I was able to make it thru the day, but I did learn to rest at work. We are not to sit, except on our breaks and lunch. I finally began to sit, and even lay down on my breaks and lunch. People began to see that I was very tired ALL the time, and it was so unusual for me to rest like that. I would crash in the car on the way home, withinn 5-10 minutes of sitting down. I had trouble getting up once arriving at home, then again once I got inside. I could not fix dinner, I could only lay on couch, like in a coma, and so thirsty!!! Later, it was the chills after a long day, and I would go lay down, while my hubby worked ot. I have finally been able to go without naps, for the most part, tho I have been off work since 7-09. I only sleep a few hours now, but seem to make it thru the days. But when I feel the chills, get tired, I rest. I seem to get worse when my lungs are giving me problems, like asthma symptoms, as I have now. Seems to be from the trees next door, as they are losing their 'parts', and it is all over the place. I hate burch trees, and wish there was a way to get neighbor to get rid of them. I spend hours cleaning up his mess, just so I don't have it tracked into my place. Heck, I just wish he and the other neighbors would clean up after the mess their trees leave behind...oh well, keeps me busy lol. Hope all have a good week!
